After maximizing my value earned from what hopefully will have been my nicest hotel room of the trip -- Gonzo Inn in Moab -- I checked out at noon sharp with a fully belly, an updated blog, a tuned-up Badger, and empty memory cards, and set off northwestward. During my pre-trip planning phase, I had worked out an itinerary for Moab to Salt Lake City, though fortunately had stopped at that and not booked a room at the other end, as I was now a day behind original thinking. |
My in-helmet thoughts today were occupied thinking about logistics to organize another rear tire change before getting home, and trying to decide whether Badger was the ultimate landscape photography tool, or actually just a partner, in the pursuit of inspiring combinations of subject and light.
