Today was a superb day, filled with great roads, jaw-dropping volcanic scenery, perfect weather, and good company. Over dinner, the two ride leaders declared that in their 11 months of continuous trip guiding in South America, for the combination of these factors, today was the best day guiding they've ever had together. "It felt less like work and more like just a bunch a friends riding and travelling together," said Alain. Salut to that! |

Day total: 246 km, 9h15m Trip total: 504 km | Start: Valdivia, Chile. End: Petrohue, Chile. Soundtrack: Group riding seems to occupy the same brain cells normally stimulated by music when riding solo. So just earplugs, again. |
