Today's mission was to relocate to an interim parking spot under family's loving roof, then jump a plane back home. The day was made unique by the fact that I was caravanning with my sweetheart. Aside from the Compass Expeditions trip in Chile/Argentina, I've never ridden with a support vehicle*, so it was a new twist. * So, just to be absolutely crystal clear, I use the term "support vehicle" very deliberately. She would certainly (rightfully) object to being demoted to a shadowing support vehicle driver, as would Badger object that he and his setup aren't prepared for self-sufficiency. OK, you two, got it. For the purposes of this blog, "support vehicle" is defined as: a 4-wheeled automobile (vehicle) which happens to contain my #1 supporter. |
